In September 2005, the Hon Paul Hellyer, former National Defense
Minister for Canada (1963-67) declared that evidence confirming
the reality of UFOs and visiting extraterrestrial civilizations
is subject to "what has probably been the greatest and most
successful cover up in the history of the world." He confirmed
that senior political officials even at the rank of Minister of
Defense, a position he himself occupied, are out of the loop when
it comes to information concerning UFOs and extraterrestrial civilizations
visiting the Earth. Hellyer further declared that Space Weapons
are being developed for covert use against visiting extraterrestrial
races. He has called for an urgent public debate to discuss the
possible use of space weapons against visiting extraterrestrials.
In
this public lecture, Dr Michael Salla, an internationally recognized
speaker, scholar and citizen diplomat in ethnic conflicts such as
Kosovo, East Timor and Aceh; will discuss the political implications
of Paul Hellyer's public declarations. Dr Salla will discuss his
forthcoming article in Nexus Magazine that focuses on space weapons
and the covert targeting of extraterrestrial vehicles. Dr Salla
has held academic appointments at the American University, Washington
DC.; George Washington University; and the Australian National University.
